How can we build on our understanding of our internal customers need and expectations to create new value in different business units? In a workshop with customers from industry, we provided an introduction to the challenges and guidelines of digital transformation and the innovation methods that support it. Based on our own project experience, we illustrated approaches and outcomes of semi-structured interviews, diary studies and shadowing, working with future scenarios and co-creation workshops, design sprints and customer journey formats. A selection and introduction of suitable practices leads from insight into requirements to a roadmap of measures.
